What is in it

Sunscreen filters are either mineral, which sit on the surface and scatter light, or organic, which absorb ultraviolet energy and release it as heat. Korean and Japanese formulas have access to a wider, more elegant set of filters than are approved in the United States, which is why they tend to feel lighter at the same level of protection.
