What is in it
Panthenol
Panthenol converts in skin to pantothenic acid — vitamin B5 — and behaves as both a humectant and a soother. It is the ingredient that makes an active formula feel calm rather than sharp, and it is common in aftercare for exactly that reason. BHA
BHA suits oily and congested skin in a way that alpha hydroxy acids do not. Because it is soluble in oil, it gets to where the problem starts — inside the pore — instead of exfoliating the surface above it. Expect visible change on blackheads within a few weeks of consistent use. Expect some initial purging if your skin had a lot of congestion to clear, and do not respond to it by using more.
