What is in it
Kojic acid
Kojic acid is a by-product of fermentation — it was first isolated from the mould used to make sake — and it inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that starts pigment production. That places it in the same family of action as arbutin and vitamin C, and it is frequently paired with them because the combination covers more of the pathway than any one of them alone. Vitamin C
Used consistently, vitamin C is one of the few ingredients that visibly improves both tone and brightness rather than just one of them. It slows melanin production, so existing marks fade and new ones form more slowly, and it supports collagen as an antioxidant. It is most effective in the morning underneath sunscreen, and least effective when bought in a clear bottle and left on a sunny shelf.

A moisturiser works best over something it can lock in, so it belongs after a serum rather than instead of one. Where it fits in your routine
A moisturiser is the last skincare step at night and the second-to-last in the morning, with sunscreen going over it. Its job is partly to hydrate and mostly to seal — it locks down the water and the actives applied beneath it, which is why even oily skin does better with one than without. Apply it to slightly damp skin and you will need noticeably less product.
Before you start
Keep this away from light and heat, and close it properly. Vitamin C oxidises with exposure — if the liquid turns deep yellow or brown, it has lost most of its potency and is worth replacing.

Can I pay cash on delivery?
Cash on delivery is the only payment method we offer — there is nothing to pay in advance and no card details to enter anywhere. You pay the delivery agent when the parcel reaches you. Inside Dhaka delivery is ৳70 and takes one to two days; outside Dhaka it is ৳130 and takes three to four.
What if it arrives damaged or wrong?
Check the parcel before you pay — that is the practical advantage of cash on delivery. If a seal is broken, a bottle has leaked or the item is not what you ordered, refuse the delivery and tell us, and we will replace it or cancel the order. Cosmetics that have been opened and used cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
How fresh is the stock?
We buy in small, frequent batches rather than holding large quantities, so what reaches you is well within date. Batch and expiry markings are printed on the packaging and we do not remove or cover them. If anything you receive is close to expiry, tell us and we will replace it.
Does the Dhaka climate affect it?
Heat and humidity shorten the working life of most cosmetic formulas, and actives like vitamin C and retinoids are the first to suffer. Keep the product capped, out of direct sun, and away from the hottest corner of a bathroom. A cool cupboard is better than a windowsill, and better than a fridge for most textures.
