Retinal

Retinal is the middle ground many people are actually looking for. Retinol is gentle but slow; prescription tretinoin is fast but punishing. Retinaldehyde converts in a single step, so it acts more quickly than retinol while staying within what normal skin can handle. Rice extract

Fermentation is the interesting part of a rice formula. The process breaks larger molecules into smaller ones and generates amino acids and organic acids that were not there before, which is why fermented rice filtrate behaves differently from plain rice water. It hydrates, softens and adds a diffuse glow, and it is about as unlikely to irritate as a skincare ingredient gets.

Retinol
