What is in it
AHA
The honest description of an AHA is a controlled, very shallow exfoliation. Used two or three nights a week, it keeps the surface clear and makes everything applied afterwards absorb better. Used every night on top of a retinoid, it is how people end up with a compromised barrier. AHAs also increase sun sensitivity measurably, so daily sunscreen is not optional while you are using one. BHA
BHA suits oily and congested skin in a way that alpha hydroxy acids do not. Because it is soluble in oil, it gets to where the problem starts — inside the pore — instead of exfoliating the surface above it. Expect visible change on blackheads within a few weeks of consistent use. Expect some initial purging if your skin had a lot of congestion to clear, and do not respond to it by using more.
What to use it with

Where it fits in your routine
Exfoliation is the step people most often overdo. Two or three times a week is plenty for most skin, at night, on a night when you are not using a retinoid. The temptation after a good result is to increase the frequency; that is precisely how a healthy barrier becomes a reactive one. Always follow with a moisturiser, and always wear sunscreen the next morning.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

How long before I see a difference?
Hydration and comfort usually change within a few days. Anything structural — tone, texture, firmness — takes eight to twelve weeks of consistent use. Judging a product before a full month is generally judging the wrong thing.
Can I use this with my other products?
Not on the same night as another strong active. Keep retinoids and exfoliating acids on alternate evenings until you know how your skin responds to each. Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol and ceramides layer with this without any conflict.
Will it suit my skin type?
Most skin types tolerate it, though anyone with reactive or recently over-exfoliated skin should introduce it slowly. If your barrier is currently compromised — stinging, tightness, unusual redness — repair that first with something simple before adding anything active.
